Bassa Val di Cecina e Colline Pisane
La bassa Val di Cecina interessa la fascia di territorio che scorre a ridosso dei comuni costieri: essa è costituita dai Comuni di Guardistallo, Montescudaio, Riparbella, per poi continuare verso nord, nel territorio delle Colline Pisane, con i Comuni di Castellina Marittima, Santa Luce.
Il paesaggio è caratterizzato dalle colline che si affacciano sul Mar Tirreno, sulle quali si estendono vigneti e uliveti, ma anche macchia mediterranea: i territori dei Comuni di Riparbella, Montescudaio e Guardistallo sorgono su basse e dolci alture mentre le Colline Pisane hanno inizio con il Poggio Vitalba (675 mt).
The Bassa Val di Cecina includes the territory close to the coastal municipalities: it is constituted by the municipalities of Guardistallo, Montescudaio, Riparbella, to go further towards the North, in the territory of the Pisan Hills, with the municipalities of Castellina Marittima and Santa Luce.
The landscape is characterised by the hills on the Tyrrhenian Sea, with vineyards and olive groves, but also maquis: the territories of the municipalities of Riparbella, Montescudaio and Guardistallo stand on low and soft rises, while the Pisan Hills start from Poggio Vitalba (675 mt).
